April 1st the district accepted conveyance from Johnson Development of park area 4 and Basecamp, which includes Lake Freedom and Lake Forest. Please note that Basecamp, the playground structure and disc golf course remain closed. Residents are encouraged to enjoy the parks and trails system while maintaining social distance standards.

Per the resolution, for the 2020 tax year, the District will exempt from ad valorem taxation by the District $5,000 of the appraised value of residence homesteads of individuals who are disabled or are sixty-five years (65) of age or older.
