Waste Connections Update
The District has received confirmation from Waste Connections that they have resumed residential bulk pickup service in Trinity Falls with one exception. To schedule your bulk pickup, residents are asked to call Waste Connections for scheduling. Waste Connections hopes to transition back to the use of the app for scheduling sometime in mid-May.
Dog Park Update
We received notification that the water fountain repairs have been completed. Both the 2 legged and 4 legged fountains are now working.
As of Wednesday, April 1st, all B.B. Owen Park playground structures along with the Disc Golf Course are closed.
At this time, the dog park will remain open however, please ensure you use appropriate COVID-19 care when entering and leaving the dog park as well as when using the picnic tables.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the parks and trails system while maintaining social distance standards.

At the January 7, 2020 meeting the Board of Directors for McKinney MUD 1 voted to adopt a $5,000 disabled or over-65 tax exemption. Per the resolution, for the 2020 tax year, the District will exempt from ad valorem taxation by the District $5,000 of the appraised value of residence homesteads of individuals who are disabled or are sixty-five years (65) of age or older. No person may claim both exemptions, but a person qualifying for both may choose the exemption that he wishes to have applied to his property.
